Power of Food: Optimizing Immune Health

“As viruses become more common, exposure to them is inevitable, but illness is not.” Our bodies frequently encounter foreign agents that can potentially make us ill. Thankfully, we are not powerless. How our bodies respond to these threats depends on the health of our internal “terrain” – our soil, our microbiome. It is this gut microbiome that nourishes every aspect of our health as this is where the majority of our immune system resides. Without a healthy, balanced gut our immune system cannot protect us, especially in the face of persistent exposure to threatening viruses.

Join Kenlyn Young for this virtual webinar that dives into how we can improve our immune health through the power of food and lifestyle so we can be prepared for unknown threats and become metabolically healthy. The concepts for this topic come from integrative gastroenterologist, Dr. Robynne Chutkan’s evidence-based book, The Anti-Viral Gut, which clearly explains the link between our microbiome and our body’s immune response.
