Welcome to the Duke Health & Well-Being Programs website!

What is the policy for attendance and training completion?

For the Hybrid In-Person and Distance Learning format, the onsite training modules are sequential and full attendance is required. For this reason, you should register for a course in which you can attend all module dates. In order to receive a Certificate of Completion and earn continuing education credits, you are required to fully attend each day of the onsite training modules. You must also complete all of the telephonic practice sessions and online components of the training (orientation, web-based trainings, demonstration videos, course assessment, course evaluation, and attestation).

For the Distance Learning format, the live webinars are sequential and full attendance is required. For this reason, you should register for a course and section in which you can attend all live webinar sessions. In order to receive a Certificate of Completion and earn continuing education credits, you are required to fully attend each live webinar session. You must also complete all of the online components of the training (orientation, web-based trainings, demonstration videos, course assessment, course evaluation, and attestation).

Duke Health & Well-Being reserves the right not to award a Certificate of Completion and/or continuing education credits if you do not complete all required components of the training.
