For Patients

A Duke Integrative Medicine Consult does not require a membership. It is a specialist visit, covered by insurance with specialty copay.

Our primary care program is a membership based concierge program (hybrid program of insurance based coverage and membership fee) that provides the full spectrum of primary care services along with longer appointments, easier access for acute visits and 24/7 access to your primary care team. Primary care is meant to be an ongoing relationship to support your needs now and into the future.

A Duke Integrative Medicine Consult does not require a membership. It is a specialist visit, covered by insurance with specialty copay. You must have a primary care physician to whom the consultant can communicate the plan. This is a focused typically shorter term relationship concentrating on the most salient issues for treatment and providing a road map for the future. Consultants do not provide acute care visits or long term prescription needs and are not available after hours.

Yes. All Duke Employees receive a discount on therapeutic services that are not billable to insurance.  Programs and educational classes are event-specific; please refer to the specific program for details.

Yes; many of our services can be covered by an FSA. Please check with your FSA carrier for a list of services allowed.

Yes; we are happy to accept Medicare Part B when it is your primary insurance. Please note that patients are responsible for all co-payments in keeping with Medicare guidelines. We file only Medicare Allowable Services. PLEASE NOTE: Medicare only covers some of our services (generally MD and selected health psychology services) and not others.  You will be given information at the time you sign in alerting you to services that are not covered by Medicare.

Yes; we accept most insurance plans for physician consultations and select insurance plans for health psychology and nutrition appointments. You can learn more HERE.

No referral is needed. Anyone may come for any service at our practice.
