Instructor, Duke Health & Well-Being Coach Training Program

Pronouns: She/They

Heather has been inspired by humans, their minds, and their potential since her high school years. She coached elementary children in sports and tutored peers while in high school. As a traditional university student, she placed her focus on Psychology and Education, while competing as a D-1 athlete. Her experience as an athlete continued beyond graduation and inspired her to explore the realm of the body, leading to training as a massage therapist, registered nurse, and personal trainer. Her educational and professional journey has taken her through a variety of passions, which ultimately melded beautifully in the holistic model of Duke’s IHCTP program.

Heather offers both coaching and massage in her private practice in Georgia. She coaches adult clients of all ages, supporting them as they explore what is important to them and what they want to manifest in their lives. More recently she has partnered with local rugby teams to help them optimize their team culture and mindset in a group setting. At the end of the day, Heather is most happy when fully immersed in the energy of growth, insight, and the synergy of partnership.
