The training is designed for medical and allied health providers and other professionals seeking to partner with their clients to improve their health behaviors and outcomes.
DHWCT participants consist of a diverse mix of educational and professional backgrounds. Many represent licensed medical and allied health fields such as medicine, nursing, physical therapy, health education, social work, exercise physiology, psychotherapy, and nutrition. Professional fields such as public health, massage therapy, acupuncture, yoga therapy, personal training, ministry, education, business entrepreneurs, healthcare marketing and consultants, and other fields are also represented.
