Aria F. Chernik, JD, PhD, is Associate Professor of the Practice at the Social Science Research Institute and the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative at Duke University. She has over 20 years of experience as an educator and learning innovation leader across K-12, undergraduate, graduate, and professional contexts. Her research and teaching focus on open design, equity-aligned pedagogies, social justice and technology, open education, and access to knowledge. Aria is co-founder and co-director of the Open Design Studio at Duke University.
