Serena Jain is a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher through the University of California, San Diego’s Center for Mindfulness, a Board Certified Integrative Health & Wellness Coach through Duke Integrative Health and the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching, and she holds a BA in Communications from North Carolina State University. Additionally, she has completed Trauma-Sensitive training in mindfulness and meditation at the Oxford Centre for Mindfulness.
Serena is the owner, mindfulness educator, facilitator, keynote speaker, and integrative health and well-being Coach at www.serenajain.com. Here she teaches mindfulness both virtually and in person on various platforms. Her offerings include the renowned 8-week (MBSR) Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program. She also offers mindfulness programs for a variety of audiences, including beginners, educators, experienced practitioners, and graduates of the MBSR program. In addition to teaching, she partners with individuals and groups to create and sustain habit change through mindfulness-based integrative health and well-being coaching. Serena also delivers keynote talks on mindfulness and integrative health, facilitates workplace well-being & resilience programs, and designs customized mindfulness-based training programs for organizations. Additionally, she implements mindfulness in education for K-12 students by teaching in local schools.
Serena’s mission as a mindfulness teacher/facilitator, speaker and coach is to make the world a more mindful and compassionate one by making the teachings of mindfulness and well-being more easily accessible for all individuals helping them to become more fully present and empowering them to envision and create the changes they want for healthier and happier lives.
