Suzy Nisbet, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, GRP, BSMP, is the Owner and Principal Consultant of Strategic HR Solutions, LLC, which is located in Cary, NC. She has 30 years of human resource management, people development, and strategic planning experience as a consultant, practitioner, facilitator, and trainer. As her company tagline expresses, Suzy truly believes that “It’s about people.” She provides expert advice and guidance to private sector, university, government, and non-profit clients. Before launching her consulting practice, Suzy built her career at SAS, BuildNet, and the NC Office of State Personnel. Through consulting engagements over the last 19 years, she adds value to clients by linking human resource programs and practices to organizational strategy. With an emphasis on developing strategy first, Suzy helps clients navigate change management to create and execute plans that improve their competitive position and environment. Using her hands-on experience as a practitioner, she guides clients through planning and implementation.
Suzy is professionally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, SHRM Senior Certified Professional, Certified Everything DiSC Trainer, Certified Compensation Professional, Global Remuneration Professional, and Balanced Scorecard Master Professional. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Campbell University.
