Teaching Assistant, Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, PM&R Department, Harvard Medical School

Certified Integrative Health Coach, 2016

Jane finds her inspiration working with a diverse group of adults who all share a common goal— to reduce their risk of developing cardiovascular and metabolic disease. In her role at Concordia Integrative Health Coaching, Jane offers individual and group services to help her clients prepare healthier home-cooked meals. She blends her culinary and coaching expertise to assist her clients in translating their new culinary knowledge into sustainable healthy habits.

The training Jane received at Duke Integrative Medicine has been critical to successfully structuring her coaching sessions to promote active learning and success for her clients. Her training course manual sits on a bookshelf near her desk within easy reach, brightly colored sticky notes marking the pages she returns to often.

Client Quotes:

“Because of working with Jane, I am feeling more comfortable about controlling my weight–no small thing since I like to eat. Her coaching has made it possible for me to explore and develop healthy coping strategies.”

“My behavior has, and continues to change. I am exercising more. I eat more healthily and enjoy finding, preparing and eating healthier foods. All this is happening because of the tools I have developed through the coaching partnership.”
