Through extensive, personalized leadership training, guided curriculum by Health and Well-Being experts and mentorship from faculty from the Duke Fuqua School of Business on project planning, this program is changing healthcare leaders’ lives and the outcomes they achieve.
Based on the philosophy behind health promotion, prevention and whole health, this program teaches working models of health and well-being and the principles behind the success of these models to heal patients and help them lead lives that prevent disease from occurring in the first place. It emphasizes the creation of a culture of health and well-being, not only for patients and providers, but throughout the healthcare system and in the greater society as well.
Once a leader understands the principles of health and well-being, then creative solutions to everyday problems come into view.
If you are interested in enhancing your skills as a leader who will help transform our healthcare system and improve the health of our nation, the Leadership Program in Health and Well-Being at Duke is for you.
